Insurers don't take babies above the 95th percentile, no matter how healthy they are otherwise.Of all the health insurance obscenities I have heard recently, this is the worst. My college roommate (a bonafide doctor!) and I were ranting about this sort of thing in Indianapolis just this weekend—whatever the merits of private insurance vs. single payer for adults, why do children have to pay for health care?
