Labels: a shadowy figure is deploying all my enemies against me in sequence, and that's why I need this new costume, comics, difference and repetition, everything I knew about myself was a lie, I don't want to be a hero anymore but now I must again, I must reclaim my life piece by piece, I never thought of myself as a leader but now I have to be, my city has been destroyed, someone's taking away my life piece by piece, superheroes, well then I'll just operate without official sanction, what do you mean I've been replaced?, year in space

I very rarely link to things that are not safe for work, but I was struck by the long-exposure and mean-averaging images that Kottke links to in this post and wanted to pass them along. My guess is they'd all actually be okay for work—but I've never had anyone websurfing over my shoulder and I know those guys can be trigger-happy.

I ripped on Judd Apatow for Knocked Up, so it's only fair to admit that I found Superbad pretty hilarious. The difference, of course, is Michael "George Michael Bluth" Cera, who I found hilarious in everything he does, despite/because it's the same thing over and over again. Next up: Juno, which blessedly looks to be more of the same.
