Lloyd Alexander, author of the Welsh-centric, widely underappreciated Chronicles of Prydain—essentially the rung on the Dork Ladder right between The Chronicles of Narnia and Dragonlance—has died. I have really good memories of these books; I hadn't realized Lloyd Alexander was still alive, and now I'm sad again he's dead.
