Perhaps I've chosen the wrong profession

Perhaps I've chosen the wrong profession: teacher fired for saying that Genesis isn't literally true. In fairness, this paragraph makes it sound like there may be more to this story than simple academic freedom issues:

Bitterman said he called the story of Adam and Eve a "fairy tale" in a conversation with a student after the class and was told the students had threatened to see an attorney.
