John McCain has obviously elected to skip my beginners' course on jokes and more immediately to the advanced class. This is, of course, part of a long pattern, one that has been entirely ignored by the media in favor of Really Important Questions like how many former members of the Weather Underground live in Obama's neighborhood and whether drinking orange juice makes him an elitist.
Via Think Progress and Crooks & Liars. Every day I find the prediction that McCain will drop out before the RNC convention less and less far-fetched. He's just an awful candidate.
